Settling For Pleather

Apparently, in this day and age, it's okay to settle. The market is over saturated with low quality stock... Thus, in economics, supply and demand would tell us that high quality goods must lower their standard prices, in order to compete with the demand for low quality stock.

Same goes with the economics of courtship. Men can't tell the difference between real leather versus synthetic. Assuming that it appears to be the same, a man goes for what cost less, what's not so hard to get. Now, maybe the advantages of synthetic fibers is the facade of something that looks real temporarily. But eventually, when the pleather cracks and peels its layers back, we all see the fibers of someone untwine. And all thats left, is, merely, a low grade jacket that can no longer be used. So what does he do? He throws it away, and searches for the new, fake leather jacket. With no foresight, that in the long run, this pattern of cheap cop-outs is, ultimately, more expensive.

Without teaching men the difference between leather versus synthetics, high quality goods are being sold for less. Women are giving up all that makes them REAL, a high quality good, for a fraction of what they're worth. Because of lack of effort and mere ignorance, Women settle, just as the men have. And the threat is that if Women don't, he'll run across a fluzzy pleather jacket in the sale rack of undesirable items, that he can get for less and throw it away at his discretion. All the while thinking, because he didn't pay much for it, it must not be worth much.

And that's it! If he doesn't pay much for it, Ladies, he doesn't think it's worth much. It's quite disheartening. Do not settle by lowering your standards for some heartthrob who doesn't understand the value of a real leather jacket. Even though leather jackets are durable, save yourself some wear and tear by making him pay what you are truly worth.
